Data61's brand design embodies the convergence of scientific innovation and data excellence, reflecting Data61's mission to advance technology through cutting-edge research and impactful solutions.
Data 61 is the largest data innovation group in Australia. Formed in October 2015 by bringing together CSIRO’s digital productivity team and National ICT Australia (NICTA). This new organisation required the creation of a new brand and look and feel to support all research and innovation work they under take.
A new identity was created to represent how the organisation operates – through networking and connecting with the best research and development minds in the world.
As well as creating the new identity and all launch materials a comprehensive guidelines was produced to allow CSIRO's in-house design teams as well as external suppliers to efficiently and consistently apply the spirit of the brand.
